Assessment fees are quoted as a package rather than charged by the hour. Your assessment proposal will clearly outline the recommended assessment, inclusions and total fee before you decide to proceed.

Payment

Assessment fees are confirmed before you proceed. Payment arrangements will be outlined in your assessment proposal, and full payment is required before the final report is released.

Additional work outside the agreed package, such as extra meetings, letters, extensive record review or additional consultation, may incur an additional fee.

Rebates & funding

Psychological assessment services are generally not eligible for a Medicare rebate.

Where relevant, families may wish to check whether private health insurance or third-party funding can contribute toward assessment costs. Eligibility varies between providers and funding arrangements.
